My favorite part of the program and I wasn’t expecting this honestly was the teamwork working with others meeting other people my cohort but I feel like this program has helped me like get that sense of joy and learning back like I really enjoyed the way this program was structured the Salesforce future Force tech launch bad program is a pre- intership program that’s designed for seconde computer science students who are interested in careers in technology now for 10 weeks we are able to bring together college students from across the US partnering with CodePath for them to get that immersive experience get that industry exposure but also work on technical projects and ultimately get a return offer to come back and join us as software engineering interns seeing the growth throughout these past years has given me immense satiation in terms of the impact that they have brought about to meet the business deliverables that we have had as an organization and just to see the personal career growth what really made it was copath the instructors that they had were were all very ready to help you and also the people that are a part of the program are really what make the program most of my family when I was growing up didn’t really work traditional professional American jobs in Venezuela and when I moved to the US that was kind of what I aspired to be definitely the connection these are relationships that I know will surpass this program and I can’t wait to see where everyone in the cohort will be in the next 5 10 20 years I honestly cannot wait to see what they do it’s really important to Foster more diversity in the industry I really like that Salesforce gives me the opportunity to work with all sorts of budding Engineers I think we need to get more of those perspectives place like Salesforce they do all those things they have really well established values they inv in their employees they invest in young diverse Talent like myself everyone need to start from somewhere we should give opportunities we should think all the time that there’s someone need to start from some point this program is truly a part of our long-term Talent strategy for the company we want to diversify our engineering population here at Salesforce which is why we’ve encouraged black latinx indigenous and women students to apply for the program I would tell someone that’s on the fence that you are so much more capable than you think you are really amazing to me that big companies like this invest in a future of people like me
