I think the interesting thing about tech is that there aren’t a lot of black and brown faces when you enter that space in that Community as a refugee I won’t usually run into people that have had the same experiences that I have so a lot of the times I think people Overlook people that are in my demographic I believe that Amazon’s biggest resource is our talent how can we make sure we’re investing in making sure that students are high skilled to pursue any opportunity that they’re most interested in it’s not just about the access to courses and coding it’s also the exposure to tech companies and then ultimately Tech mentorship mentorship is one of the most important things I’ve gotten out of this program my parents aren’t white colar workers they’re not in Corporate America Jeremy kind of helped me navigate that world it was so amazing to see someone that is in the place that you want to be
